Even cochin had similar arrangement. The name of station was COchin Pier (CHP). Remains of the station can be seen here:

I had missed out this scene even though I was present on the PF of Karjat. Thanks to Ashish I too am able to enjoy this special photo of the two generations of locos / two different varieties of traction power capured in one frame and the bond between the mainline LP's and the Banker LP's.

I was lucky too that I could visit and see the WCG's in action in their last few days of working life. We ought to push these great workhorses to various musuems. A few should also go to the new proposed musuem @ LNL.

Yes Milind, VT - Kurla Harbor line was first electrified in 1925, followed by Wadala - Bandra and then VT - Kalyan via Main line. BBCI was electrified in 1928.
