The HWH Raj via Gaya ran on double diesel (both carrying the same Rajdhani livery) even in 1986. I remember that the lead loco even carried a name plate bearing the train name.

From this diagram, it does not make sense to have Manmad as the starting point for the Aurangabad line....Ankal Quila seems more logical. Anybody agree, or am I missing something?

Now thats another clue that the loco was a brand new one: the seat's plastic has not been torn fully yet!.

I am very happy to see the humble WDS 4 in action. Basically it being a 700 HP this is where the starting point of Indian Locomotives Industry comes. Has no Electric Motors , direct transfer of power to the AXLE by VOITH HYDROLIC system.

They're facing the other way... you never have signals facing outwards from the platform just within feet of the platform :-)

This Railbus / Rail Car is also nice but it does not have central headlight like the one in SHIMLA RAILBUS .
