Pawan, you are in my territory and hope you enjoyed it!! This photo was actually shot by the grandfather of a person called Joseph Raj who runs a small time studio in Munnar now. His grandfather was a well known photographer. I had contacted him several years back and he gave me the slide. I had uploaded it here: Posted by Jimmy Jose on 2006 Mar 24 15:53:28 +0000 |

These photos are from the top of Hotel Mermaid. The line is Ernakulam-Kottayam line. The hotel has a superb view of the tracks. Railfans coming to Ernakulam should seriously think of staying here, though it is a bit out of the way and away from the city Posted by Jimmy Jose on 2006 Mar 24 00:29:49 +0000 |

I wasn't lucky enough to "get away with it", instead I was lucky enough "to be allowed to do it", provided I didn't show their faces, and thats what I did! Posted by Bizzy Mishra on 2006 Mar 23 11:18:14 +0000 |
Correction - It was the HWH-bound 2704 Falaknama and not the 2703. Anyway, still a lucky coincidence to have the "falaknama code"!
