Binai, I think that’s the system for the LHB rake toilets. Don’t think these will discharge the compound waste on the tracks but on the contrary get stored till an attendant disposes it upon arrival at a particular station or at the terminal station.
Ranjeet, why would it be a loss for the railways (referring to Ranjeet’s comment on Binai’s theory)? This way when the train is stationary, the platforms/stations will not get polluted/dirty. It’s not the common mass but the gang men, railway staff or railfans who walk on the tracks!

Jimmy and Ranjeet, I see no reason why people should be confused about shed logos. The VSKP shed logo is a lighthouse, which represents the famous lighthouse on the Dolphin's Nose in VSKP.

The entrance to the fort of Kakatiya rulers in Hanamkonda forms the insignia of the KZJ Diesel Loco Shed. The KZJ shed logo shows entrance to the Hanamkonda fort - Hanamkonda, Kazipet and Warangal form a town of sorts.
