Look at the road number- 20068! This is one of the most recent WDP4s and this condition already! Really pathetic paint job by DLW!!

Great catch Arzan. It'll be interesting to know how many more G7's are there with the P4 shell.

This is a new loco, and the second G-7 with P-4 cab. The earlier one is 27895. But the MU cables spoil the look of the P-4 face. MU cables look better on the traditional shell itself. Also, we will soon see locos in the 28xxx series!

No Anamitra, all 60xx and 61xx series locos are 2000 HP class old BR workhorses, brought from ALCO, Canada. It is only the 62xx Series EMD locos which were imported from Hitachi, Japan. It is true that the 63xx series EMD locos were Bombardier, Canada made. However, I have never been to Bangladesh and all information I have got is acquired from Najmul, the photographer.

Fro what I recollect, the Krishnagiri NG line in TN looked so much similar to this, curving through forests and mountains

Trains disappeared from the "real" Krishnagiri in Tamilnadu decades ago. My searches ended nowhere.... Refer to the Tirupattur-Krishnagiri NG line. My solace is that a station called "Krishnagiri" still exist today, thousands of kilometers away!! And that too, in an NG route middle of all BG!!
