Krishnagiri, the boarding and alighting station on the Vanrani. The station has a track level platform. The building to the right is the maintenence shed for the train. The blue/purple flowers below the station board are of Karvi, a plant which flowers every 8 years. (Akshay Marathe)

Trains disappeared from the "real" Krishnagiri in Tamilnadu decades ago. My searches ended nowhere.... Refer to the Tirupattur-Krishnagiri NG line. My solace is that a station called "Krishnagiri" still exist today, thousands of kilometers away!! And that too, in an NG route middle of all BG!!
