Karan/Binai,

1. Is the line from Juinagar to Turbhe Juinagar "functional"? If so, are trains being operated, say, between Panvel and Thane?
2. Is there any feasibility to connect Khopoli with Rasayani? If not, is there any hilly terrain in between?

Even we too from Mumbai. The day immediately after AC conversion, I was blessed to see Twin WCG2 hauled freight at kanjurmarg, but then that was the last day. After that till date, no sign of it at all.

My observation regarding the blue wagons is that they have the standard capacities of near about 70, 30, 20, which is also same in old BOXNs. Also most of these blue wagons observed by me were new and maximum belonged to ECR and SECR. I will get a close-up shot in some days for sure.

Nimish , there is a Disel to Diesel , Pune WDMx to an indefinite WDMx loco change at Pune station. The loco going out with 1022 brings in the 1021. If the same loco takes the Karjat Passenger to Karjat that day , then there will be another Pune WDMx which will get attached to 1022 on the same day night , which inturn will again bring in the 1021 next morning.

Jimmy, I think Shanx or Alok had mentioned in one of the photos that the blue BOXN are stainless steel wagons. Did you notice this difference?

Lovely album of heritage pics. Deserves a rightful place on our server under FIRST CLASS.

Can we try to add some more photos of the old Colaba station too ?? This will complete the history of this line.
