Dear VSP, 1. Thane-Panvel locals are running for almost 1 year. Two pairs used to run, I do not know the current number. 2. The map is not to scale. Road distance between Khopoli and Rasayani would be more than 25 KM. Why would you like to link the two?

1. Is the line from Juinagar to Turbhe Juinagar "functional"? If so, are trains being operated, say, between Panvel and Thane?
2. Is there any feasibility to connect Khopoli with Rasayani? If not, is there any hilly...

Perhaps Kandivali would get a new code now :)
By the way, Kile (Its called locally as Kille - the place where I resided during my last 5 years in Mumbai) station is called as "Sagar Sangam" by CIDCO. Am glad that the railways is naming the place...
