Picture with title 'narrow gauge engine on the road to Kamptee'- I think it is a metre gauge class A 2-4-0T of 1873. I would guess it was taken about 1880 on its way to the Nagpur -Rajnandgaon line, which I understand was originally metre gauge. Picture f

The picture is desribed only as `Indian Railway Bridge 1880s'. Does anybody identify the location?
Calcutta Port railway March 1,1979. Diesel locomotives in attractive colour scheme. D53 on left is B-B DH built in Canada in 1960. Loco on right is D50 a C DH also Canadian built in 1958.I would be very interested to see a better photo of these diesels

Can anyone identify this station? My father took this photograph during World War I and it may help me identify his route across India -- Les Bailey.
