i got hold of this photo from a friend of mine whose grandfather is a retired station master..Mr.Ganesh Apte(90 years old).so thought of sharing the photo with you guys...
information about the pic...mid 1925-30 showing construction work on the Doraha - Nalagarh Railway in North West India/Pakistan.

Regarding the location: Doraha is on the Ambala-Ludhiana section while Nalagarh is some distance away in Himachal. There does not seem to be any record of this line being used for regular services. Maybe it was in connection with construction of a canal or dam. This line does not seem to exist now.
