Bhopal Shatabdi _offlink

@Mr Krupa Ratnam : The two locos must have been detached from a freight train and given the charge of Shatabdi on emergency basis. But what I can't figure out is where is the failed WAP-5? Generally, it is not the priority to remove a failed loco from the train, and the relief loco is attached in front of the dead loco. This is surely a mystery.

No sir. They will be restricted to 100 km/h or at the most 105 km/h.

A query: In case of failures of the main loco (like in this cae) for shatabdi's or Rajdhani's and freight locomotives are put in as a replacement, who pilot the train? The A grade LP/LP or the C grade freight LP/ALP?

The turn out is set for the siding only. Sri.Aasish is right in saying that 12020 would have entered loop if the points were set for the loop line.(motor operated points act as a pair only). It would have been very clearly seen if the other rail of the point towards the siding was captured too..
