I don't think this is a good plan/project. Check out www.skytrain.info or www.radiptransit.bc.ca (not updated for a while) or www.translink.bc.ca/Service_Info_and_Fares/SkyTrain/

Can't say for sure. But it appears that the wheels are meant to provide sideways stability.

Does this mean that the BEML Delhi Metro coaches were being transported by road to Delhi? I remember that the first batch from Korea went by rail.

Why on Earth did they take a photo of a London Underground Jubilee Line train, slap a DM logo on it and put that onthe front side of their travelcard???

The Scharfenberg coupler was developed some time just after World War II in Germany. The idea of it is that you can couple two units physically and electrically through one coupling (instead of a usual coupler and cables). Also, this can be done automatically and within seconds - one vehicle must simply slowly approach another until their couplers meet.

most of the weight on a tractor-trailer combo is actually on the trailers axles. if you notice this one has 3 axles on its trailer and so did all the other trucks.the tractors axle(1 or 2 ) is basically for tractive effort.

Amazing - the single axle of the lorry can take two train wheel loads - great tires and great axle!

The box near us would be a cable carrying tray. Note the bonding wire (with yellow tags) to earth this part. Tiny wheels !
