most of the weight on a tractor-trailer combo is actually on the trailers axles. if you notice this one has 3 axles on its trailer and so did all the other trucks.the tractors axle(1 or 2 ) is basically for tractive effort.

Amazing - the single axle of the lorry can take two train wheel loads - great tires and great axle!
