mobile fire tender... can be used in places where accidents lead to fire or when mobs attack trains etc .I think this is just a water tanker or is it having pumps etc on the rear part of it?

This stone bridge shown in the picture above would be to the west of the Railway bridge currently being used. I am saying this as the Railway track runs north to south here.

If the new girder bridge was constructed in 1926-1927 time frame, then can we find out if this new bridge construction has got something to do with the DC electrification.

I think that this is the stone bridge one needs to cross while going to our Appu's house in Pune from the station !!

From this extreme close up, wide angle distortion, horn and the weather vane it appears to be like a mutant snail.
