The Black Handle is rotated clockwise & Anticlockwise for opening and closing of the Gates. When the Train passes an electric signal is generated to the Station Masters office. Then the Station Master releases an electric signal to this cabin. Then the key comes out of the box. This key is inserted into this Handle leaver to open or close. All the system is interlocked. The Gates will not open till the Train has passed the Gate. So the Gateman is powerless.
