Jimmy JoseMajor accidents in Kerala involving a train slipping of the bridge: 1. Island Exp fell into the Perumon bridge. Cause - Unknown (some say a freak tornado) 2. Mangalore mail slipping off the Kadalundi bridge. Cause - the bridge was more than 100 years old. This photo decipts none of these. Anil, can you give me the date of the accident?? Jimmy, It does look like this wagon is abandoned or out of commision. Notice the two wedges have been permanantly welded to the rails so that this wagon does't go anywhere :-) The corrugated vaccum pipe can be clearly seen.
