I don't think it is silly....It may be a safety issue, both for the trespasser as well as for the train passengers....An engine driver may, in the spur of the moment, brake to avoid hitting a trespasser thereby causing a derailment. Same reason why...

I don't think it is silly....It may be a safety issue, both for the trespasser as well as for the train passengers....An engine driver may, in the spur of the moment, brake to avoid hitting a trespasser thereby causing a derailment. Same reason why crossing big streets at locations other than pedestrian crossings is an offense...more commonly called as jaywalking. The fact that these laws are not enforced is another matter. But there is a good reason for these laws.

Guys..dont you think that this is very silly!!! i dont see any issues why crossing railway lines is an offense..This is the first of its kind board i've come across in my rali viewing.
