The white FM marker indicates "Fouling Mark" ie vehicles on adjacent tracks should stand beyond this point to avoid collision. the yellow triangle with '10' indiactes the speed limit for the yard

There is no Bilaspur-Durg Intercity express on the route. Being electrified it runs with Bhilai shed WAM engine. The photo shown may be perhaps the Korba-VSKP Link Express or some passenger (VSKP-DURG/ R-VSKP Passenger). The photo is taken on R-TIG Branch line.

might be so but this is the bomb it has the potential to reach the designed speed and has the capicity to pull along a fair load as well it would have been a lot nicer if the new design were to look at the aerodynamics factor as well as come lets fact it air although very malleable at high velocities has the ablity to shear and that is not a good thing it would be really nice if they could include some aerodynamic factors into their design ......cheers

The max speed of WCAM-1's is not over 110kmph. So After the Diesel's they were directly shifted to WCAM-2's which hauls to Raj and AK Raj exp on 120 kmph.

ya looks really good and looks alike 2 the indian WDM1 for this is the ALCo world series DL500 ..it has been exported 2 somany countries and they all looks similar except those australian DL500 , they had dual cab on either ends and did not need a turn table like the WDM1 in India , well they still oparate in others countries but the Indian govt and the IR desided 2 eat them up , and well my lifes goal is 2 buy a WDM1 and restore it ...really , no kiddin

All old village and countryside stations in India have a banyan tree. This station too has one. Classic pics, keep it up

Magnificient & Imposing. On the left you can see a Dynamo run on the steam turbine system & on the left you can see electric wires going to the flasher light. I pray & hope that these steam locomotives are still used ? Sunny .
