Its Byappanahalli station area for sure !! Looks Quaint . I thought It was electrified in early 90's .This is probably in the Eightys or earlier!! .

The trophy skull was already hanging on the branch when we found it. The location is between tunnels 25 and 26 in the Bhore ghats.

This is the YPR - HWH EXPRESS !! The coaches are not AB/VB but VB coaches converted to AB. This is SER's way of demarcating such coaches... shoddy finish on the paint job though.

Lovely pic of the tunnel 24. The path that led trains up the reversing station can be only just seen on the right side. With so many railfans out near the tracks, the species (Swaran in this case)are bound to appear in the pics :-)

There was a time when I'd see skulls and bones scattered liberally along the base of the rising alignment of the Diva Vasai line. This is near the spot that crosses the CR mainlines at Dombivili. Such was the number of animals that got run over there.

How did the skull get hung on that branch like a trophy??? They refuse to move off the track despite a driver's frantic horn blowing.
