Each of the four corners have a slanting beam where the
bridge meets firm ground. Hence load bearing should not
be a problem. Either the vertical beams are extra or they
have been added for more stability (which I doubt ?)

Why would anyone want to leave the markers on at this time?
Are the markers really switched on or is it the sunlight refelcting off them?

The broad platforms are a far cry from the narrow, closeted MG platforms, way back in 2004 when I travelled on the Mudkhed Kinwat (then) MG section. This section looks really nice during the monsoons.
