Pavan, I don't think the bridge leads to the LGD ELS. I believe the tracks on the bridge actually join those coming from the ELS going towards SC. I have seen a few empty rakes standing on these tracks nearing SC.

Each of the four corners have a slanting beam where the
bridge meets firm ground. Hence load bearing should not
be a problem. Either the vertical beams are extra or they
have been added for more stability (which I doubt ?)

Nothing is wrong with the picture and it is not "doctored" either. The tracks on top cuts the tracks below at an angle and forms a parallelogram. The consequence of this is that some part of the bridge does not exist on either sides and this is what you...
