The moment has been captured well. Even a colour shot would be nice. If you want B/W perhaps you should go slow on the toneing after desaturation. Here detail goes into black.

Oh so nice to look at the bustling station - there is even a tea stall on the right!! Far cry from the time in 2005 when we visited - this was a desertede area and we were wondering whether the station would ever see passengers again- really wonderful to see the sea change!

I remember our trek two years back at the very same spot to see the tracks washed away - a real heartening sight. Its great to the line in action once again - after news at that time that the line might never be fixed again:(. Vivek - is there a new alignment now since the tracks in the picture have not been fixed?

@@ Vijay - infact it is the other way round. The distant train is standing on the loop, while the Kaveri will proceed through on the mainline. A fact reinforced by the green signal and the loop feather on the 'mickey' being off.
