yes vibin, i can make out the pipes running down the side of the loco,but i just don have clue bout what they're there for. first time seeing them.

Vibin, I took this shot on Saturday (Dec 1st) morning. Same day when u had the twin WDGs (shot by Ashwin) at KJM...Ashwin, Colin, Vivek and I met that morning at SGT. Incidentaly I was at KJM that morning too, at 07:30 to catch the Marikuppam passenger from KJM to SGT but missed it by a few minutes.

Colin was this pic taken on Nov 27th ? On 27th, the same loco was hauling the Marikuppam passenger to SBC. On the loco if you notice near the overhead fan there are two pipes running down, they have a tap too on the side. I was wondering what they are for

Nice! Hope the paint stands up against the wind and the dust blowing against it with the constant movement of the train. Any idea what speeds this will travel at?
