Sorry - my mistake - Gajraj is 14XXX series.

WDG-3D #13301

It seems most probably like an extension of the Gajraj series...even the road numbers (13XXX) as well as the livery matches the Gajraj series.

Very nice photo. Nice spotting. Even the livery is a blend of WDM 3D and WDG 3A. The next loco in the series, 13302, has clear WDG 3A markings. See pic here: http://flickr.com/photos/jimmystrains/868769963/

One or two points to add... GOC WDS6#36018 (in the previous photo) is the regular shunter at Trivandrum.

Sort-of-new livery for AJJ WAP1s? And is it hauling the ERS-TVC Janshat? It had ERS diesels till very recently.

Diesels have almost disappeared from TVC nowadays... Jimmy, apart from the via-KR trains, which trains still have diesels in the ERS-TVC section?

Now I know why we are hard to find GOC locos in TN. I think GOC locos are mostly wandering in Kerala. Jimmy: Can you confirm the GOC's WDM-2 & WDP-3As availabilioty in Kerala? Thats why TN has got ED-ism all over

Actually this is the hill with the Radar on it....we were about 75 metres from the building. but no problems at all. We saw lots of freight action too.
