Wonder how a hollow structure is able to support the weight of the bridge and train !

Note that the front SLR is non Janshatabdi type, which means that the train was probably restricted to 110 kph that day.

Nice said Karan. Whenever a weekend comes, exchanging loads of SMSes for hunting a place for railfanning has become a routine for us!

Typical thriller ride associated while trying to photograph high speed trains on IR. First you have to rush, if you are not already comfortably settled and waiting for the train, and second - a split second to capture a good image, or everything is lost in a flash. I can imagine what you guys went through!

Add to this myself, Akshay Marathe, Abhishek Bajpai, Ranjeet Ramaswamy and Bhushan Kale (not present on this particular trip) and it emerges that Mumbai probably is the city with the maximum number of active railfanning members in their teens and early-twenties!

Well..talking about WDG-3A and WDM-2 composition, I have seen WCAG-1 and Pune's WDM-2 (both live) hauling a BCNA rake at Pune.
