Most WDG-4 locos are without buffers.

Excellent shot. Good lighting. Good moment to click the picture, as the cyclist and the loco are exactly opposite to each other.

The caption is much better than the picture. Nice one.

Interesting caption. Bycycle is a light loco since the traveler and the pilot are the same person :-)

The boards on the engines showing which train it is leading are seen only in Mumbai section? I have not noticed them in other parts of the country....nice picture though.

Grain silos at Pehowa Road wagon loading facility

Excellent stuff. I've seen this kind of stuff in the USA but not in India.

I am starting to enjoy the photos in the "Open Line" a lot more than "First Class". Information-wise, "Open Line" is "First Class" and "First Class" is third class. :-)

I've seen this on other Delhi Metro (elevated) stations. The track slopes up into the station and down away from it. This is to help slow the train down when entering the station, and
to speed it up when leaving. Also conserves some energy that would be lost while braking. Aveek Bhattacharya

The facility was one of two (first at Moga) built by M/S Adani Agri Logistics Ltd, on a BOO (Build, Own and Operate ) agreement with Food Corporation of India (FCI). For loading, Railways deal with FCI (including payments).

Nice pic, but loco looks very odd without buffers!

Nice album showcasing a little-known aspect of IR's freight operations. Thanks for sharing.
