Excellent. To me it looks like the shot was composed on a full moon night just after the sunset. The reason being a night-shot without a flash would not be able to discern the colour of the vegetation as well as the hills. From the length of the streaking stars, I would say that the exposure time is around 10-15 seconds and perhaps we are looking towards north, or slightly north-east or north-west.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railways

The diamond crossing with the BG was once with the MG towards Assam. Brings back fond memories of taking the train to Siliguri, and then (probably on the next day) aboard the A T Mail to Bihar.
