A good example of effect high stress and temperature on rails. As expected, the side opposite the flange shows all the plastic flow of the metal.

Wish this picture had shown rails ahead of the loco...with bit of cropping to remove the partial oil tank on the left would make it a good pic. The light is just too good...

Not even a bit of elevated platform.....difficult for old people....although the train doesnt seem to be overcrowded, people like to travel 'balcony class'....
