I just pray that whenever WR gets a shatabdi rake in this livery, they must not interchange the EOGs of this rake with the Rajdhani EOGs, which are in a different livery!

SUBURBS of DELHI - 1909 MAP

When was the railway line realignment done? India Gate was built in 1921 and New Delhi established as capital in 1931. So for some years, trains must have been actually passing next to the monument. Also the old Nizamuddin station seems to be on the road connecting Humayun's tomb with Safdarjang's tomb (Lodhi Road). Any signs of its remains today?
