Orphaned would be a better word. Gadag has plenty of MG hardware (locos, wagons and carriages) but no track to run them on. There is no Guntakal MG shed anymore.

The WDP4 livery best suits the LHB Shatabdi rake. Vijay agree with you, that the beastly WDP4 should have been decorated and cleaned for this grand occasion.

Vimlakar, the road bridge is to the south of the rail bridge and the train is actually heading towards west and the sunlight is from the west. It is an evening shot

My dear friend Krupa Ratnam, this pic is taken from the road bridge which is on the western side of the rail bridge and the sunlight is falling on the train from the other side which is the eastern side. That is why i said this might be some other train. Boatmail leaves at 17.00 hrs and sethu leaves at 20.15 hrs from RMM.
