Is this now unofficially the longest passenger train of India, cos I've not seen any other 25 coacher besides this and Pushpak is becoming a 25 coach regular.

Apu these are very much dual cab locos. Just that one side has one grille and the other has two. You just can't see the rear cab of the trailing loco due to the camera angle. Having a single cab would defeat the purpose of having a vestibule door :-)

I am sorry, this set is 6A. We have also seen 6C. 26023 and 26049 in Koraput!!!

Jimmy, This set of 6C (26000 & 26002) was spotted by me in February,2009 while travelling by 2VK. Mr.Kamesh had put up that photograph on the Gallery.

One of the best DC motor Locos that IR never had in large enough numbers. Its wonderful to see these giants doing their duties so gracefully. I suppose these were the last locos to employ thyristor chopper technology.

Just can't believe this is YPR. The station used to be like this till early 1990's. Bangalore used to be so nice during those days
