@ Karan Karnataka Samparkranti Express , now a days is usually with WDP4 but sometimes it does get KJM WDM3a. WDP4 with such a huge tonnage of train struggles to climb up the ghats but with KJM WDM3a it is an effortless pull.

The rake is chained to the rails. The profile reminds me of a BOXN wagon with a curved roof.

Good show! This is of course Pune's own Shindawane ghat, that is one of the many ghats in the Sahyadri mountains.
