Talking about the OHE, I've seen a single wire functional OHE at CBE with an ED WAP-4 performing shunting duty. Wonder if that is an experimental design. Posted by Deep Soni on 2009 Oct 28 11:31:46 +0000 |

The Black & White pic brings back nostalgic memories of my previous visit to Bikaner, 29 years ago. Thanks for sharing. Posted by Dinesh Hukmani on 2009 Oct 28 10:08:45 +0000 |

Excellent Shot. I had the privilege of trekking on the Nagnath catch siding and going to the other side through the service tunnel in April,2009. Posted by V. Srinavasa Prasad on 2009 Oct 28 04:24:44 +0000 |

My compliments to Ashwin for having taken the efforts to reach such difficult and inaccessible places. For those unfamiliar with the area - the (descending) train is on the 3rd line of Bhore ghats, and the loco is nearly at the Nagnath cabin. The Nagnath catch siding can be seen above the locomotive rising into the second peak in the picture. Here is the satellite view of the area. Posted by Apurva Bahadur on 2009 Oct 28 03:48:39 +0000 |
Why can't CR do this kind of arrangement, where ever OHE wire to bridge clearance is questionable?
