Unique solution for routing 25KV compatible OHE wires under FOB at Khadki station where clearance between top wire and the FOB is less than ideal. Two longitudinal insulators have been put on the top wire. This makes sure that the segment of top wire below the FOB does not carry any voltage, at the same time, ensuring proper mechanical continuity to maintain tension. Electrical continuity in top wire is ensured through another wire segment which is connected on outer sides of the pair of longitudinal insulators. This wire is routed close to the lower(contact) wire, again to maintain clearance. Special paint with insulating properties is applied on the bottom side of the FOB. ()

Why can't CR do this kind of arrangement, where ever OHE wire to bridge clearance is questionable?

Talking about the OHE, I've seen a single wire functional OHE at CBE with an ED WAP-4 performing shunting duty. Wonder if that is an experimental design.
