Waiting eagerly to see the Yal Devi to Jaffna included in this list. This is one of the famous named trains of Sri Lanka, which was bombed by the LTTE some years back, cutting off all rail links to the north. Restoration of the track is in progress. Distances being short in SL, the same crew must be doing the Up and Down services, and still not exceeding the time limits proscribed.
