Nice to see another German gentleman of IR being preserved.It was built by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. in 1954. Kraus-Maffei now makes defence machinery. I guess it was one of the last MG steams of Wankaner shed operating as late as 1999. Manufacturer's serial No. KrM-18031 Quite a long service period of 55 years.

There is something melancholy about the shot. It is almost as if it is out of another era. The muted colours suit the frame perfectly.
