First LHB rake on a regular train to Pune.

The Spare Mumbai Raj rake had passed through Pune to SUR for passingers of the SBC-NDLS Raj which was stranded due to floods.

Thanks for sharing pictures of my favorite station in IR! Brought back such wonderful memories! I have to admit that I miss seeing the quaint Bo-Bo locos - WAM1/2, WAG-1/2/3 - especially the green-black WAM2 from ASN shed. Also, miss the WDM4s.

Very nostalgic! Remember going on a couple of school trips to Chunar back in the late 70s. Once, a few of us climbed the hill next to the station and got a fantastic view of the Ganga!

I think this was built sometime in the early 80s. Before that, you could see the freight lines right from the street.
