I do not have any memory of MG times, but someone told me that MG used to be at cabin level for small distance while the BG was same as now. It is very difficult to find any traces of old MG alignment anywhere till Barabanki. I have done extensive tracking and very much sure that except at Jugaur if true, in the rest of the section, BG was simply laid over the MG alignment.
