Woohoo. Nice picture with great color. The power structure doesn't annoy me because it fits perfectly between the space. Then the way catenary ends at OHE masts, the power lines end in the structure and they are paralle more or less. Lastly power structure tops the gradual rise in height of OHE masts. All these things blend perfectly for me. Weird way to look at things :-)

Not clear what you mean by the question Appu, but visually this pantograph is webbed unlike the "low-speed" one. I would actually say that for high-speeds this is a bad design as it would increase the drag. The high speed trains have a single arm pantograph made using a tough material and is oval-shaped to make it aerodynamic.

Bharath says this was a accidental photo. There was no time to compose anything-the train arrived a few seconds after he got out of the vehicle.
