You can see this green-liveried WAM4 in the book - 'No Problem Sahib!' Back in the late 70s, there used to be WAM4s with the same color combination but with blue instead of green - in the IGP-BSL section.

ETS-2

Sorry sir. 22212 is a BSL WAP-4 in WAP-1 livery. Got a bit confused. Sorry again.

ETS-2

22212 can never be WAP1. It was made as WAP6 prototype initially, was based at JHS, then moved to MGS and then again back to JHS. All JHS WAP4s except the 220xx series then moved to BSL where it is right now. Also 22052 is a doubt to be in BSL if it is not converted to WAP4. JHS WAP4s 22029/54/61 are the only locos which moved to GZB, rest all in BSL. Another error is 22306, which is an ED WAP4 and cannot be WAP1 in anyway. Please be careful in noting the numbers, as the database gets updated on our feedbacks. If you have slightest doubt, better do not put numbers.

A CNB WAG7# 27985 quite resembling a WAP4 approaches Saphale station. (Arzan Kotval)

Thanks everyone. I am glad that you all liked it.I should consider myself lucky to see this rare spotting.
In other words,I can also describe it as a WAP4 hauled freight train. This WAG7 is almost a carbon copy of WAP4. Only difference is the MU cables and the length of this loco is longer than the WAP4's.

The most logical explanation would be that the rake started off with a Diesel. But mid way an electric had to be attached to get the job done. Had the Diesel been leading it could have been the otherway around.
