A view from the assistant loco pilots seat of the Kulem Home Signal.. The aspect is on.
The aspect is off now!
The longest catch siding in the Braganza Ghat.. this can accomodate 58 boxn wagons and the entire consists of penta headed locomotives.
As we pull into Kulem, the sight of two frieghters ready for climbing up the ghats was very pleasing.. man.. they roared as we neared them..
Wheels between Wheels.
WDG4 12057 shows true courage and heads up the ghats pusing a BCNA rake.
Kulem.. a true Indian railway station.. calm - only to be interrupted by the locomotive sounds and horns.
Three pairs of fully loaded frieght trains await to climb the ghats.
Another view of the loaded frieght. The train on the extreme left is filled with limestones, while the others are with coal. They are bound for Hospet,
Another very lively shot.. a herd of cows graze on the platform, a guy fills water, a pair of diesels silently whistling.
The station board. Kulem.
These two people await with their machines before the Kulem Vasco Passenger.
This passenger nonchalantly sits in the Kulem Vasco passenger.
WDP4 20059 brings in the Vasco Chennai Express. The Khalasi runs to shoo away the herd that was grazing on the platform.
I was dippified when it honked as it went past me. The horn on the SHF is really scary!
