Ranchi Jn., ZDM-4A 224 awaits departure. Dawn with the daily train to Lohardaga preparing for the off. I had stayed in a nice hotel just through a hole in the wall to the left. The receptionist said when filling out the register just putting "tourist" wasn't precise enough but when I suggested "touring Indian narrow gauge railways"...like the one outside...she settled for "tourist"!! 21.12.2003.
