Valsad shed had fitted this WCAM-1 with a temperature monitoring system for the Traction Motor Suspension Bearings.The yellow buttons are used to select the feed from the thermal sensor fitted on the bearing.Pressing it gives an indication on the readout.

While AC locos need only 6 or 8 indication lamps,the WCAM-1 loco has 12 indication lamps on the driver's desk.Also,they are located below the switchboard rather than beside it as in AC locos.A brief explanation:
