Central Railway's 1st ever 25000V AC Retrofitted 12CAR EMU, made out of 1500V DC EMU. This emu has been retrofitted by the Sanpada EMU Carshed of CR. 9 more such rakes are going to be retrofitted, and total of 10 will take care of CST-Thane AC Conversion.

This EMU will be the first to be flagged off from Dahanu Road to Churchgate on 16th April 2013 at 10.05 am. The rake is being decorated with ribbons and festoons for the occasion. (Jitendra Mulky)

Closeup of Motor coach 3012B of retofitted AC rake 3009-3012 of WR, waiting to enter the DN slow line at MX. The roof of the motor coaches of this rake, have not been dished. Yet, they were tested on WR mainline on Feb5 2012 -the day when ADH-CCG went AC.
