CR's 17th retrofitted ACDC 9car rake, turned out from MTN, and renamed to 3048-3050, commissioned on HArbour line on Feb22,2013. This rake was now taken to CLA from MTN, got its under slung transformer fitted, and then its original numbers changed. Seen here is 3048C which was an Ex WR 930C cab. The cab earlier was itself areodynamic, but I guess, CR removed one steel lining above the windshields, and made the are flat, thus looking like ICF type MRVC cab. (Vijay Aravamudhan)
