Amazing capture ujjwal! I thinks this is first instance of spotting a loco with both Pantograph raised simultaneously.

OMG, it is the first time I am seeing such a pic. Why do they do this?

OK so besides a WCG2, a G7 too can simultaneously raise both his pantos!!

@Jimmy see it here at: http://www.irfca.org/gallery/Locos/Electric/wcg1_2/PB282130a.jpg.html

All AC locos previously used to have 4 positions for purpose of raising pantos viz..0,1,2,1&2...when the ZPT key was kept on 1&2 both the pantos use to rise..however that position has long been discontinued..this position was particularly used by shed people for testing purpose but was never implemented on line.In this case it could possibly be a case of one of the pantograph getting stuck & LP not verifying the same before raising the other panto.Or this loco could still have 1&2 position intact.

Yes, this could be the case as Sachin has mentioned as the panto does not come down immediately at times, but gets lowered slowly. This could be a similar scenario. But, going from the pic I think shed staff have still kept the 1,2 position of the ZPT key intact for use in the shed.

@Harsh, you don't seem to have said anything different from what Sachin has commented. None of the pantos look as though they're in the process of being lowered.
