What is the status of BG conversion between New Jalpiguri and Alipur Duar. And the doubling between Alipur Duar and Guwhati?

When I was there about 2 weeks ago, NJP-Siliguri Jn was broad gauge but not yet opened. The rails were shiny from works trains though, so it can't be long now. The 2' gauge on this section was also closed but apparently complete. Metre gauge on this section has been removed but odd disconnected sections remain.
The metre gauge has been realigned to the west side of the station at Siliguri Jn (now a MG terminus) and is in use.

new jalpaiguri - samuktala (via siliguri and alipurduar jn) has been converted to broad gauge.

Are there any plans to convert (double) the line all the way to Guwahati? Also are there plans to convert Rangia- Merkong Selek MG to BG?
