Possible, but guard rails are only in the hilly section. It looks to me as if the train is approacing the hilly section and the shot is of the train lookin out behind.

Alok,
I think it is the curve just before Durk (after crossing the Seonath river while coming from Nagpur direction). If I remember correctly, the Darekesa - Dongargarh section was definately more hilly

From the gaurd rail and the tight turn I can tell that this is between Darekasa and Dongargarh on the Nagpur Durg section. The place has a ghat section which really looks great during the monsoons.

This is probably a dumb question, but why is this "a sight not to be seen again"? The Jnaneshwari is still running, isn't it? And Santragachi locos still have the blue livery.

Notice the Light / Lamp above the Passengers head. So this is the last coach LV or the Gaurds Office. I cant recognise the colour of the Lamp.
