Each of the four corners have a slanting beam where the
bridge meets firm ground. Hence load bearing should not
be a problem. Either the vertical beams are extra or they
have been added for more stability (which I doubt ?)

The point is that with 25 kV AC, this idiot would probably have gotten shorted already. Due to the higher voltage, the arcing distance will be higher.

Nothing is wrong with the picture and it is not "doctored" either. The tracks on top cuts the tracks below at an angle and forms a parallelogram. The consequence of this is that some part of the bridge does not exist on either sides and this is what you see.

Karan, 25000AC is known as V(rms). The actual pull of that over one cycle is going to be 25000 * 2 * 1.414 = 70700V. AC has 60cycles a sec, so imagine how much higher the risk of AC is.

ED does not have any WAP4 in 220xx series. It can be though AJJ WAP1. LGD WAP4s do not haul coro anymore.
