Great snap! Love the wide angle. After a long time, I see a Jan Shat without the blue AB coaches. And the WAP-1 shines clean and bright .... kudos AJJ!

Note the shallow depth of field even at f/8 (assuming the EXIF information is correct). If the focal length is indeed 210 mm, it would have been a formidable sized equipment that you were carrying, considering that it is a D100. Did you have a photography permit, or were there just no RPF in the station?

The exact location (I think) is between Sasthankota and Perinad on the Kayankulam-Quilon section.

This was shot somewhere before Quilon, and after Kottayam. There are a few more of these in the ERS-TVC stretch
